Parkview Whitley Hospital Columbia City, Indiana
“Our guiding principle in the design of the new hospital is to create the ultimate healing environment,” says John Meister, Parkview Whitley Hospital COO. Hagerman is helping Parkview fulfill this mission through a construction management at-risk delivery method.
The $40.5 million, 96,000-square-foot facility will include 30 private patient rooms, a sleep disorders lab, obstetric care area, inpatient rooms with full bathrooms on the second floor as well as a variety of patient-centric services on the first floor of the facility. Additionally, a four-bed critical care unit is planned with an electronic intensive care unit. Ground was broken in October 2008. Targeted completion is March 2011.
