GDH renovated 260,000 s.f. of existing space and added on 40,000 s.f. of additional space to North Side High School, originally built in 1927. The renovation included the reconfiguration and upgrade of all classrooms and labs. The original main gymnasium was converted to a new media center and new floors were added within the original gymnasium for added classroom space. The addition included a new cafeteria and kitchen, classrooms, administrative area, common concourse and a performance gymnasium seating 2,200.
